Taghkanic Thugs try Scare Tactics to hide
from exposure.
The owner of the West Taghkanic Dinner, and long time friend of the owner of the Taghkanic Press, was approached by the Towns thugs telling him that there is pending law suite against the editor of Taghkanic Press in an attempt silence the free press from exposing corruption and malicious behavior by local officials.
The owner, not wanting to be drawn into controversy and in obvious fear of reprisal's, ask this writer if I would mind not putting the news letter in his place of business. He stated that he has receives anonymous letters from unnamed thugs telling him he could be drawn into a pending law suite just for having the news letter in his place. As the sole person responsible for the news letter, called Taghkanic Press, I agreed not to place them there in fear that these spineless individuals may cause damage to his business, threaten him with retaliation or even physical harm, you never can tell what will happen with these types.
Employees in the Taconic Mart story were also approached with the deceitful information of this non- existing law suite, in a very rude manner. The third business approached was the owner of Jo-Jo's pizza, who flatly refused to be bullied or frighten by the local thugs scare tactics, saying he won't allow anyone to tell him what news people can and can't read in his place of business. When he was told he to could be drawn into a law suite for having the news letter in his place his response was "bring it on". I say Bravo, to you Carlo, and bless you for standing up for the freedoms of the residents in Taghkanic, that were granted us in the constitution.
The question now is, where is our Supervisor, Betty Young when this is going on? Does she support this shake-down of local business owners? Is she turning a blind eye to it? Will these owners have police protection?What happens if someone refuse to remove the Taghkanic Press news letter from there place of business? Will their business be damaged? Will their families be threaten? Or is this the Republican party trying to save a sinking ship by gagging the people? I challenge these spineless individuals, come and shake me down, show me this pending law suite, I'm the one you want to threaten and scare, not the business owners. Just remember if you do choose threaten me, I 'm not the local child in the parking lot.
To the local business owners and mangers I say this. I will continue to support your business and expose these thugs for lying to you, and there is NO pending law suite against the Taghkanic Press news letter or its owner Richard Graham.
